Best camera phones

The best camera phones should be tested in the best conditions to determine their best performance. Not to test them in low light conditions where pictures are not going to be good. What is the point of capturing our memories that are blurred any way. Keep them blurred lah. What is important is to keep wonderful views at the highest details, i.e. resolution. That is why I am disappointed by Xperi XZ Premium which drops its resolution to 19Mpixel and yet cannot beat Samsung Galaxy S8+ in low light conditions. Almost as good as the Z5 and XA1 ultra.

I will skip XZ Premium. Will buy the lower spec but impressive selfie, XA1 Ultra.

Xiaomi has more than 40 or 4,000 pixel per vertical, 16 Mp square. Xperia and iPhone with their 12 Mp sensors, only achieve 22 or 2,200 lines per vertical, 4.84 Mp square. Iso12233 can only measure up to 16 Mp resolution, but it is obvious that Redmi Note 8 Pro is capable of higher resolution. The rule of thumb is that, the output resolution is half of the sensor resolution, so 12 Mp sensors can output at most 6 Mp. So 64 Mp should output 32 Mp provided its lens is properly matched. Without any confirmation of the lens and sensor matches for the latest 200 Mp sensors, I am reluctant to buy any of the 200 Mp capable mobile phones. Reviewers do not help either.

Heavily processed Sony A100 10Mp DSLR raw files. Taken using Canon EOS 40D 10Mp DSLR fixed with a Vivitar 2.8mm f1.9 ailing lens. There are a lot of fungus inside the lens. I managed to clean a little of it but much still remains. The exposure was little processed from the original raw file.

Mobile LED Flash light is the best Microscope light

It has a rechargeable battery. I kept it for a few years inside a refrigerator until the battery was flat but once recharged, it still works. It has 3 settings which came in handy because at the highest setting it is too bright for the 10x objective lens but slightly dark for the 100x objetive. I have actually ordered 30W LED floodlights but it may be too bright for the microscope, except for the 100x objective.
